Klodzko Fortress

In 1960, the Kłodzko Fortress she was officially recognized as a historical monument and made available to tourists. Part of the fortifications made available to visit it's only 10% object. Today The fortress can be visited individually or in accompanied by a guide dressed in a historical uniform. The route leads through the most important places - the adventure begins on Tumski Courtyard, where the buildings of the Augustinian order stood in the Middle Ages, and then leads to Alarm Bastion, where tourists can see the famous stairswhich the filmmakers ran into four tanks. Important points on the sightseeing route are also: infirmaryTower Bastion and donjon - the last place of defense, occupying the grounds of the former castle. 

From the bastions towering over Kłodzko you can admire the panorama of the city and mountains surrounding withthe name of Kłodzko being the Tourist County of the Sudetes. The brave ones, under the watchful eye of a Prussian soldier, will have the opportunity to undergo rapid artillery training at one of our cannons. The bravest (and the less brave too) we invite you to the underground popularly called labyrinths. There, you will have to go through over a kilometer of the several-kilometer network underground counter-mine galleries stretching beneath the Fortress's combat slope.
