Srebrna Góra Fortress is one of the largest mountain fortresses in Europe and a unique attraction of Lower Silesia. Here you will experience soldier life in the 18th century, see for yourself what the "Prussian drill" means, and admire the mountain views.

Here history meets nature!

The guided tour will take you 70 minutes. However, reserve more time to fully enjoy the attractions of Srebrna Góra.

What will the guide show you?

• donjon,
• model of the Fortress,
• underground casemates,
• a well carved in the rock,
• 18th century soldier uniforms and equipment,
• soldiers' room,
• Fortress artillery, i.e. weapons and ammunition used in the Fortress
• and the ruins of the infirmary.

The guide will also show you how black powder weapons worked!

What will you visit on your own?

Take a look at the viewing terrace on the crown of Donjon. You will see a panorama of the Bardzkie and Sowie Mountains, and behind them the Opawskie Mountains and the Śnieżnik Massif.

In the armory, you will find the exhibition “Silver Mountain on an old postcard”. In turn, on the Lower Bastion, next to the ticket office, you will see findings from the old silver mine.

You will take a walk around the Srebrna Góra Fortress and meet our fortress herd of goats.

Practical tips:

• Dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes. The Fortress' underground areas are chilly and the mountainous terrain can be uneven.
• Leave your car at parking lot. On the way to the Fortress, we have prepared riddles for the younger and older. The walk will take you about 20 minutes. And at the top of the Fortress, the best guides in the world are waiting for you, ready to reveal the secrets of the fortifications!
• You can take your dog with you, but keep it on a leash – our goats will be grateful 😊
