Best of all, the facility is fully adapted for families with strollers and people with mobility disabilities.

This 34-meter structure, opening in 2021, is a faithful replica of the legendary tower, which once graced the top of Śnieżnik. The story of its construction is as fascinating as the structure itself. Dalimil, the son of the owners of the nearby Paprsek shelter, grew up listening to stories about the majestic tower on Śnieżnik, which was demolished in 1973. These memories inspired him to create its replica, which today delights generations of tourists.

From two viewing terraces, located at a height of 17 and 33 meters, there is a panorama that makes the heart beat faster. Winding granite stairs lead to the top, where not only the view but also a cozy catering point awaits. Exactly as in the historical original. Paprsek Shelter – a mountain haven with a soul

Just below the peak of Palasha, at an altitude of 1,010 meters above sea level, there is a place that has been welcoming tired hikers since 1932. Paprsek Shelter in the town of Staré Město pod Sněžníkem, originally known as the Silesian House, is a living history of the Polish-Czech borderland.

From the terrace of the chalet there is a breathtaking view of the Hrubý Jeseník Mountains, and the location itself (less than a kilometer from the Polish border) makes it an ideal stopover during mountain hikes. It is a junction of hiking trails, where the trails leading from the Old Town under Śnieżnik, from Branna and from Medvedi bouda to Ramzowa intersect.
